Megan Allaway: Honored as a 2025 EDP Soccer Promising Young Coach Shaping the Future of Youth Soccer

EDP Soccer has honored one of our very own, Megan Allaway, as part of their prestigious 2025 “Promising Young Coaches: Honoring Young Leaders Shaping the Future of Youth Soccer” list. At just 22 years old, Megan has already made a significant impact in the youth soccer community, and her dedication is evident in the success she has helped build at Long Island Soccer Club (LISC).

Originally from England, Megan played soccer at the university level before making her way to the United States. Since joining LISC, she has been a driving force in developing programs for the Zone 1 players, as well as for the LI Rough Riders Program. Her leadership and vision were instrumental in establishing the foundation for LISC’s 2014 Academy team, which triumphed by winning its division this past fall.

Megan holds a UEFA C License, further demonstrating her commitment to continuous growth and excellence in coaching. Her recognition as one of the 30 young coaches under 30, as listed by EDP Soccer, is a testament to her exceptional ability to nurture talent and guide young players in their soccer journeys.

Congratulations, Megan! The future of youth soccer is in great hands with leaders like you.
