As October and Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we are thrilled to share LISC has raised $5,725 for the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation this year.
“We are very proud of the support our LISC members have shown each year in raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This October we have raised the most money yet and collectively the club has raised over $22,000 for the BCRF since we began working with the charity in 2019. With the prevalence of breast cancer on Long Island, we wanted to take an active role in supporting research and bringing our community together in support of a great cause,” – Meghan Frey, Club Director.
