The Long Island Soccer Club (LISC) U8-U14 teams recently launched their fall season with a dynamic preseason camp at Bethpage State Park. The camp provided intensive training sessions, tactical workshops, and team-building activities aimed at enhancing the young athletes’ skills and team cohesion.
Girls Director, Pam Lumpe, shared her excitement, saying, “It has been an incredible three days…The enthusiasm and energy each team brought were truly contagious…we are immensely excited for the 2024-25 season, and this camp has been a fantastic start.” The camp also offered players the opportunity to learn from LISC’s elite coaches, further developing their talent.
Asst. Boys Director, Stu Newman, highlighted the camp’s importance, stating, “The Long Island Soccer Club Team Camp is a vital kick-off to our season…It sets the tone for the year, fostering team unity, building skills, and igniting the passion that drives our club.”
