Long Island Soccer Club is proud to share that it is now an Official Club Affiliate of The Island FC, marking an important step forward in the continued growth of the player pathway on Long Island.

LISC will continue to operate as a club and remain a meaningful part of the development landscape for players and families across the region. This new affiliate relationship is designed to strengthen the overall structure, create greater clarity within the pathway, and connect more players to long-term opportunities.

Beginning with the 2026–27 season, The Island FC will operate the MLS NEXT Homegrown and Academy platforms across Long Island. As part of that structure, the Nassau-based LISC MLS NEXT divisions will transition to operate under The Island FC, while the broader Long Island Soccer Club platform remains active and important within the pathway.

For LISC families, the message is simple: LISC is not going away. This is not a replacement of the club, but an alignment that helps create a stronger and more connected future for player development. LISC will continue to play an important role in helping players grow, compete, and progress within the Long Island soccer landscape.
