As the first MLS NEXT club on Long Island, we are now part of a comprehensive player development platform that includes 29 MLS Academies and 123 Elite Academies across the U.S. and Canada. This partnership ensures our players receive top-tier training and coaching, preparing them for both soccer and life.
- LISC Expands East
We proudly announced our expansion to the eastern regions, furthering our mission to develop top-tier talent and providing more young athletes access to our elite programs. This move strengthens our efforts to serve the community and support the growth and development of aspiring soccer players.
- College Placement Continues to Grow
In 2024, we celebrated over 30 players committing to play soccer at the collegiate level, underscoring our dedication to player development and success beyond high school. These commitments are a testament to our program’s quality and the hard work of our athletes.
- Girls Academy Program Soars
Our Girls Academy program continues to flourish with all six teams competing at the highest levels and making significant strides in their respective leagues. The standout 2007 squad not only qualified for the playoffs but also tied the eventual national champions. Additionally, both the 2007 and 2010 squads were invited to the prestigious Champions Cup Showcase, reflecting our commitment to developing top-tier athletes and achieving excellence on the national stage.
- Enhanced Exposure Opportunities
LISC has significantly increased premier exposure opportunities, with several players attending USYNT ID Centers and attracting the attention of USYNT scouts, professional MLS & NWSL scouts, and college coaches. Our training sessions and games have become a hotspot for talent identification, even outside national events. We are proud to create more opportunities at the highest level of youth soccer and have fostered strong relationships with US Soccer Talent ID Managers, professional academy scouts, and college coaches across the country.
- Team Success Across Leagues and Tournaments
We celebrated numerous team successes, including championships in league and tournament play. Highlights include the Boys 2008 Academy, Girls 2014 Academy, Girls 2012 Premier league champions, and Boys 2007 Academy winning the NY Champions Cup.
- Alliance with NWSL Gotham FC
LISC recently signed an alliance with NWSL professional club Gotham FC, creating a strategic partnership aimed at raising the standards of training and play for women, young women, and girls. This collaboration focuses on creating a player pathway to the professional level and increasing visibility for women’s soccer by adding regional talent centers and opportunities.
- Community and Charity Initiatives
LISC is dedicated to engaging with and supporting our community through various initiatives. In 2024, our club raised over $9,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness and donated over 3,000 pounds of food and 150 meals during the holiday season. We continually strive to make a positive impact, both on and off the field, by actively participating in and contributing to our local community.

LISC players shined brightly during their high school seasons, with over 70 athletes earning awards, including Long Island Championships and State Championships. Their remarkable success is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent. These achievements highlight the outstanding efforts and determination of our players to excel both on and off the field.
- Coaching Achievements
Our LISC staff, recognized as a premier coaching team in the Northeast, demonstrated their exceptional talent and dedication throughout the year. Notably, coaches from Hofstra University and Molloy University led their teams to win conference tournaments and secure bids to the NCAA tournament. Their remarkable efforts also included breaking records and earning Coach of the Year accolades at both the college and high school levels. These achievements underscore the high caliber and expertise of our coaching staff, who continually strive for excellence.
