Club Background: Long Island Soccer Club (LISC) is an elite level program based in Nassau County, NY. An area boasting one of the largest soccer demographics in the USA. LISC coaching staff is of the highest order with over 80% being college coaches. The club is administered by a full-time professional staff and will soon break ground on a purpose-built indoor and outdoor facility. The elite level girls’ teams are part of the Girls Academy league (GA).

1. GIRLS ACADEMY DIRECTOR

Overview: The LISC Girls Academy Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the LISC Girls Academy program including but not limited to implementation and oversight of training schedules and curriculum; communication with players, coaches, administrators, and parents; education, management, and evaluation of coaching staff. The Girls Academy Director reports directly to the Executive Club Director. The Girls Academy Director will execute the strategic goals of LISC in a manner consistent with the club’s mission, vision, and values. Communication and collaboration are vital in this role.

2. DIRECTOR OF SOCCER OPERATIONS

Overview: The Director of Soccer Operations is an integral role within Long Island SC.  This individual needs to understand the goals and initiatives of the club and have a progressive and ambitious approach while also emphasizing quality on the field.  Many tasks of this role are administrative in nature; however, this role is one that requires an ability for strategic forward-thinking analysis.

3. STAFF COACH

Overview: Long Island Soccer Club is currently seeking quality coaches to join an elite staff.  Long Island Soccer Club (LISC) is an elite level program based in Nassau County, NY. An area boasting one of the largest soccer demographics in the USA.  LISC affiliate the Long Island Rough Riders hosts Men’s USL-2 and Women’s USL-W pre-professional teams. 

LISC is searching for head coaches for U9-U19 competitive teams. Age groups include differing abilities, allowing teams to compete in local, regional and national events.
